To commemorate a summer that will never return, the photography-loving boy Kaito Kirishima (voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki) decides to direct and star in a film with his friends. Just as the film is about to begin production, the figure of a strange girl, Ichika Takizuki (voiced by Haruka Tomatsu), catches Kaito's eye. Kaito is deeply attracted to Ichika's appearance and personality, while this somewhat eccentric transfer student seems to hide some unspeakable secret. No matter the outcome, every day spent together with friends during this midsummer will become an unforgettable and precious memory for Kaito.
