Hachi's Chōhō (voiced by Yuki Ono) was born into a family of thieves who rob the wealthy to help the poor; however, he does not agree with his father's principles and ways of life and refuses to inherit the "family business". As a result, he is exiled to Qizhong Island, where he must rely on his own strength to survive. Hachi moves into room 202 of the Happiness Inn, where he unexpectedly meets a spirit named Dragon Daughter Qiqi (voiced by Rui Tanabe). Ten years ago, Qiqi was killed in room 202 and has been living there ever since, gradually becoming a typical otaku who enjoys playing games and eating pudding. Thus, Hachi begins his "cohabitation" with Dragon Daughter Qiqi and decides to find the treasure buried on the island, the "Qiqi Collection," to uncover the true murderer of Dragon Daughter Qiqi.
