"Sunday Without God" is a series of light novels by Japanese author Kimitoshi Irie, with illustrations by Shino. The story primarily follows a 12-year-old gravekeeper girl, Ai Astin, who fights to protect a world "abandoned by God." "Sunday Without God" is a light novel work published by Fujimi Fantasia Bunko, based on the original work by Japanese novelist Kimitoshi Irie and illustrated by Shino. It won the 21st Fantasia Grand Prize (which had not been awarded for three consecutive years). A radio drama CD was released by Marine Entertainment on December 29, 2010, featuring voice actors including Aki Toyosaki, Mamiko Noto, Keiji Fujiwara, Yuko Gotou, and others, with the animation version maintaining the same voice cast.
