Yucheng Miku (voiced by Araki Kaori) is an ordinary high school student. One day, while she is at the library reading with her friend Hongo Yui (voiced by Touma Yumi), they accidentally open an ancient book called "The Book of Four Divine Beasts," and a red light flashes. They are sucked into the book and transported to an alternate era. There, Miku's identity is no longer ordinary; she transforms into the Suzaku Priestess, whose task is to gather the legendary Suzaku Seven Stars and summon Suzaku to fulfill her wishes. As the journey unfolds, the Suzaku Seven Stars gradually appear, and as the priestess, she develops a deep bond with one of them, Kiyosuke (voiced by Midorikawa Hikaru). On the other hand, Yui also travels to the same era as Miku, but she finds herself as the opposing Seiryu Priestess, and she also needs to find her own Seiryu Seven Stars. At first, the usually timid and weak Yui is reluctant to confront Miku. However, as she sees Miku getting closer to Kiyosuke, jealousy begins to distort her heart.
