The story takes place in a distant future within the vast universe, where the Galactic Empire and the Free Planets Alliance, which split from the Empire, exist as two major opposing forces constantly engaged in brutal warfare. Connecting the Empire and the Alliance are two famous corridors—the "Fezzan Corridor" and the "Iserlohn Corridor." Within the Fezzan Corridor lies a unique nation—the "Fezzan Autonomous Region." This seemingly weak nation manages to navigate the turbulent situation in its own way, becoming a noteworthy force not to be underestimated. For a long time, a delicate balance has been maintained among the three powers, but the appearance of Reinhard von Lohengramm (voiced by Ryo Horikawa) from the Empire and Yang Wen-li (voiced by Kei Tomiyama) from the Alliance signals the end of that balance, and the wheels of history begin to turn.
