The story of "Heart of Light" begins one day when a mysterious girl named Kaguya is discovered by the male protagonist, Rick, on the coast of Wendalia Island. It is soon revealed that she has lost both her memories and emotions. Through mind communication with the island's residents, Kaguya gradually recovers her feelings. Meanwhile, the peaceful Wendalia Island is besieged by pirates who are after the spirit stone that Kaguya wears around her neck. To help Kaguya regain her memories and feelings, and to restore peace to Wendalia, Rick, who has also drifted to the island for various reasons and lives and works in a magical bakery alongside three female protagonists—Relis, Ayari, and Yamiru—decides to embark on an adventure with them.
