Three years ago, a car accident left Hirano Haruka (voiced by Kuribayashi Minami) in a coma. Narumi Takashi (voiced by Taniyama Kishou) has always blamed himself for the accident, leading him into pain and despair. During this time, his admirer, Suesa Mizuki (voiced by Takahashi Tomoaki), continuously cares for and encourages him, and unknowingly, they start a sort of half-cohabiting life resembling that of a couple. One day, Hirano Haruka suddenly awakens from her coma. Due to her brain injury, her memories are temporarily disordered. Takashi sees this as an opportunity for atonement and thus continues to protect Hirano Haruka. Mizuki watches everything unfold and realizes that Takashi only truly loves Hirano Haruka, and in her sadness, she chooses to quietly withdraw.
