This is a world where monsters and humans coexist. For a long time, monsters have hidden in the shadows, unknown to humans. However, the enactment and implementation of the "Interracial Communication Act" has brought this initially frightening but actually harmless race out of the shadows and into human society. The ordinary man Nakamura (voiced by Junji Nakajima) has a gentle and easy-going personality, and the act's enactment completely changes his mundane life. The lively and cheerful half-snake girl Mia (voiced by Sora Amamiya), the adorably dazed eagle-human Papi (voiced by Ari Ozawa), the noble and elegant centaur Chandra Rhea (voiced by Natsuki Aikawa), and the faintly present yet dual-personality slime Se (voiced by Mayuka Nomura) all start to visit Nakamura's home one after another, marking the beginning of a laughter-filled cohabitation life.
