The TV anime "Strange Tarou's Yokai Illustrated Diary" is adapted from the manga of the same name by Riichi Keikawa. It was announced to be animated on April 28, 2016, and premiered on October 5 of the same year. Stripped of his residence after entering a forbidden warehouse, "Strange Tarou" is ordered to live in a separate lodge. There, he meets the Zashiki-warashi "Suzuki" and begins a life of cohabitation.
