Raul (voiced by Kōsuke Kamimoto) has aspired to become a hero since he was young, putting in a lot of effort and sweat to achieve his dream. Although those around him consider Raul to be a crazy person spouting nonsense, this has not deterred him from pursuing his dreams. However, just as he was about to obtain his hero certification, news surfaced that the Demon King had been defeated, leading to the abolishment of the hero system, which means that hero Raul is now unemployed. Raul, who has suffered a great blow both physically and mentally, becomes a recluse and, after much difficulty amidst a surge of employment, finally secures a job at the magic shop Leon in the royal capital. What Raul did not expect was that a girl named Fino (voiced by Azusa Tadokoro) would become his colleague, and her true identity turns out to be the daughter of the Demon King.
