According to news released by the studio Production I.G on Twitter, the new TV anime "Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta" will premiere this October. This new anime marks the return of the "Yozakura Quartet" series to animation after five years; it is not a second season but a re-adaptation starting from the first chapter of the manga, with some original elements added. The staff and cast have been announced, and while the staff differs significantly from the previous TV anime, the voice cast remains largely the same as the original adaptation. The manga "Yozakura Quartet" is a work by Yasuda Tenkou (real name Yasuda Norio) that has been serialized in "Monthly Shonen Sirius" since 2006. The story is set in Sakuranomachi, where strange events occur at night. As the number of beings with non-human powers increases in this sakura-filled town, chaos intensifies. The members of the "Hizume Living Consultation Office" step forward to confront these challenges, unfolding a new, heartfelt action story...
