In Kyoto Fushimi, steeped in rich historical atmosphere, lives a somewhat reckless yet very innocent girl, Fushimi Inari (voiced by Naomi Ozora). She played in the Inari Shrine, dedicated to the fox deity, since she was a child, forming a deep bond with the place. Inari secretly likes her handsome classmate, Tamba Bridge Kōji (voiced by Hiroshi Okamoto), but unfortunately, he seems only interested in the beautiful Sumizome Akemi (voiced by Iori Nomizu). After unintentionally upsetting Kōji, Inari feels down. Previously, she had saved a little fox by chance, which allowed her to meet the fox deity Uka no Mitama no Kami (voiced by Noriko Kuwashima). With the god's help, Inari gains the ability to transform freely into any existing person. With the little fox Sora assisting her, the girl's adolescence begins to change...
