Atelier Escha & Logy, also known as "The Alchemist," is an anime adaptation of the PS3 game "Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky." It is the latest installment in the Atelier series, illustrated by Yasukiyo, and was officially released on June 27, 2013. The work is another major title in the same series as "Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk," with two game versions available: a standard edition priced at 7,140 yen and a deluxe edition priced at 10,290 yen. The anime tells the story of a world that has welcomed countless dusks and is gradually heading towards its end. Set in a remote western area of the "Dusk Earth," which was once a prosperous nation due to alchemy, it features a youth sent from a city called "Central" and a girl who grew up in this border town, both pledging to contribute their efforts to their development class.
