The interdimensional aliens, the Aborans, are attempting to invade Earth by creating a series of cosmic monsters and synthetic super monsters combining Earth creatures. The super monster known as Number 1, Belaukern, makes its appearance in Fukuyama, Japan. The Earth Defense Force dispatched to confront it faces total annihilation. At that moment, on the devastated street, there are two youths who risk their lives to save others: the bakery driver Hokuto Seiji and the nurse Miss Minami Yuko. They exert all their efforts to rescue those in danger but eventually collapse from exhaustion among the rubble... Saved by Ultraman Ace, who integrates his own life force into the two.
To continue fighting against the Aborans, Hokuto and Minami join the Earth Defense Force TAC. After rigorous training, they finally defeat Belaukern.
As Ace's combat abilities become increasingly powerful, with the special light techniques he masters and the assistance of the Ultraman brothers, he defeats the super monsters and the Ultraman Ace Killer, engaging in a desperate battle with the Aborans in an interdimensional space alongside the Ultraman brothers. After the Moon person Minami returns to the Moon, Ace attaches himself solely to Hokuto. With great responsibility on his shoulders, Ace continues to battle against the super monsters and the Aborans. After defeating the Aborans' most prideful synthetic super monster, he returns to the Land of Light—Ultrastar.
