16-year-old girl Matsumae Ohana (voiced by Kanae Itou) is an ordinary high school student living freely in Tokyo. Much like this bustling yet dull city, her life is bland and uneventful. At the age of fantasy, Ohana constantly longs for "sudden night escapades, unexpected romances, and sudden farewells." One day, the moment she has been waiting for finally arrives. By chance, Ohana finds herself at her grandmother's (voiced by Tamie Kubota) hot spring inn, Kisuisou. Time seems to stand still in this remote location in Ishikawa Prefecture, still retaining a strong essence of the Taisho era. Ohana stays at Kisuisou as an employee, working hard all day and meeting girls her age as well as various guests. Here, she seems to find a new direction in life... This film is an original commemorative work for P.A. Works' 10th anniversary.
