Due to her special ability to see fairies, the young girl Lydia (voiced by Nanaka Suzu) often faces exclusion and isolation from her peers. Nevertheless, Lydia decides to use her ability to become a fairy doctor, specializing in matters between humans and fairies. One day, on a ferry, Lydia meets a mysterious blonde youth named Edgar (voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa). Edgar claims to be the Earl of the Blue Knights and asks Lydia to help him find his lost sword, which can prove his identity. Thus, Lydia signs a contract with Edgar and sets off on a treasure-hunting journey together. A notorious robbery occurs in the city, and the wanted criminal bears a striking resemblance to Edgar, who has an unclear background, while the young attendant Leuin (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita), who never leaves Edgar's side, also becomes increasingly suspicious. Is Edgar really an earl? What hidden, unspeakable background does he have? Gradually, Lydia realizes that she is getting closer to the truth of the events.
