In an accidental encounter, an ordinary boy named Kousaka Junpei (voiced by Shintaro Asanuma), who has an allergy to cats, inadvertently offends the Cat Jizo shrine by the roadside. From this moment on, Junpei will completely bid farewell to the word "ordinary." The Cat Jizo has manifested, and as punishment, Junpei must fulfill the wishes of one hundred cats; otherwise, he himself will turn into the cat he dislikes the most. After that, various adorable cats begin to appear around Junpei. There’s the chubby leader Mao Muses (voiced by Atsuko Tanaka), the innocent and cute Tamaki (voiced by Jun Fukuyama), the naturally silly Panda (voiced by Yui Kamihara), and the elegant and proud black cat Nair (voiced by Yukari Fukui). Through his interactions with them, Junpei gradually sheds his prejudices against cats. In school, Junpei has a goddess he has been secretly in love with—Mizuno Kaede (voiced by Yuka Iguchi). To bring Junpei and Kaede together, the cats he has helped begin to use their own skills.
