In a small city near Tokyo, a furious typhoon is about to arrive. At a local high school, boys are transitioning into young men while experiencing great changes in their bodies and minds, along with the intense impact of desire. Five girls—Taiko (played by Tomoko Aizawa), Yumi (played by Ryoko Tendou), Midori (played by Yuriko Fukuzaki), Rie (played by Yuki Kudou), and Michiko (played by Yuka Onishi)—sneak into the school swimming pool at night to have fun, and in a joke nearly drown their male classmate A-Ming (played by Toshiyuki Matsunaga); Teacher Umegumi (played by Tomokazu Miura) faces pressure from his girlfriend’s mother to marry during class, creating a chaotic and awkward scene; the boys gather to discuss their female classmates; the girls engage in forbidden games. As the typhoon approaches, their emotions and desires are released amidst the storm... This film won the 4th place in the 1985 Kinema Junpo Best Ten Films, the Best Screenplay Award at the 1986 Mainichi Film Awards, the Golden Prize at the 1st Tokyo International Film Festival, and three awards at the 1986 Yokohama Film Festival, including Best Director, Best Actress (Yuka Onishi), and Best Supporting Actor (Tomokazu Miura).
