In a unit of an apartment in Tokyo, four young people live together: university student Ryoji Sugimoto (played by Keisuke Koide), who is infatuated with his senior girlfriend; unemployed woman Kotomi Okouchi (played by Shihori Kanjiya), who deeply loves her actor boyfriend; aspiring illustrator Mirai Aizawa (played by Karina); and Naoki Ihara (played by Ryuta Yamamoto), a film company employee who is busy working all day. They have different personalities but resonate well with each other, leading a smooth and uneventful life. One day, an 18-year-old male prostitute named Wataru (played by Kento Hayashi) intrudes into their world, disrupting their seemingly peaceful life. At the same time, a mysterious neighbor next door and the nearby string of violent incidents cause this turbulent world to collapse further... This film is adapted from Shuichi Yoshida's novel of the same name and won the FIPRESCI Prize at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival.
