In the year 2062, after the failure of a large-scale automation project, the core artificial intelligence, Artemis, chooses to fight against humanity, leading to a devastated Earth twenty years later. In an underground research facility of a certain base, a girl named Empress awakens. She is one of the three remaining guardians of humanity. However, she has no memories from her previous life. The Colonel of the Peacekeeping Force informs Empress that she has a mission: to destroy the orbital elevator under construction by Artemis that will connect the Moon and Earth before its completion.
