A completely new animation produced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the popular comic "ARIA" by Kozue Amano. Set in the tourist city of Neo-Venezia, representing the water planet Aqua, it depicts the daily lives of Akari Mizunashi and her friends, who work as undines guiding visitors through the city on gondolas. The series is composed of three episodes: two based on original stories from the manga that were not animated in previous television series or OVAs, "To You, Whom I Wanted to Meet..." and "That Warm Farewell...," and an original story based on a newly drawn manga by the original author, "To That Distant Future...". Directed by Junichi Sato, with a screenplay by Reiko Yoshida and the TV series staff reunited.
