In the beginning of chaos, the world is divided into two stars, East and West, longing for each other across the void, developing distinct civilizations under the guardianship of the Dragon's Messenger. In the East Star, during the Warring States period, the foolish Oda Nobunaga (voiced by Mamoru Miyano) and his subordinates Akechi Mitsuhide (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai) and Toyotomi Hideyoshi (voiced by Yuki Kaji) witness the astonishing power of the Takeda clan's battle armor, which deeply moves them. Meanwhile, in the West Star, the beautiful girl Jeanne d'Arc Kaguya (voiced by Yoko Hikasa) is perceived as possessed by a demon because she can hear the revelation. One day, she meets the genius inventor Leonardo da Vinci (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita), who secretly takes the Taketori ship and brings Jeanne and the newly developed battle armor "Oshikai" to the East Star.
