Rossi is the ace pilot of the Italian Air Force in World War I, but he has been cursed and turned into a pig. Even as a pig, Rossi continues his old profession and becomes a bounty hunter, specializing in combating aerial pirates that commit crimes in the Adriatic Sea airspace. The legendary "Red Pig" quickly gained fame, striking fear into the hearts of the pirates. To deal with Rossi, the pirates brought in the super pilot Kakius. During a confrontation with Rossi, Kakius shot him down when his engine malfunctioned. When Rossi took his plane to his old friend Piccolo for repairs, he met Piccolo's granddaughter, Fio. Fio helped Rossi fix his plane, and together they soared through the skies once more to combat the aerial pirates. At that moment, Kakius appeared and fell in love with Fio at first sight.
