The story takes place on an artificial island called "MERMAID," where a maiden named Mamoru (voiced by Mizusawa Mikako) is sent. Shortly after arriving on the island, she is attacked. In a critical moment of life and death, a blonde beauty named Miroku (voiced by Iguchi Yuka) appears. However, the enemy is too powerful, and even Miroku begins to feel overwhelmed. At this crucial moment, Miroku unexpectedly kisses Mamoru, and to Mamoru's astonishment, she transforms into a longsword, becoming Miroku's weapon. Together, they work to defeat the enemy. It turns out that many others like Mamoru live on the island, including the carefree money-loving Sakura (voiced by Kubo Yurika), the handsome and suave Hiiragi Akira (voiced by Yoshino Yuuna), and the free-spirited Renmi Reine (voiced by Onishi Sayori), all of whom share a common goal: to leave the island.
