Cherry is a boy who is not good at talking to others and always wears headphones; he likes to express his unspoken feelings through haikus. Smile is a girl who wears a mask to cover her braces; as a popular video uploader, she posts videos whenever she sees something adorable. These two people meet in a shopping mall, exchange contact information, and start chatting. At their workplace, they encounter an elderly man named Fujiyama, and later learn about his long search for a certain record. They decide to search for the record together, and their relationship grows closer. However, after a certain incident occurs, their thoughts begin to diverge.
