Rocky (Paul Newman) was born into a very poor family in New York. His father once dreamed of becoming a boxer, but unfortunately, the difficult living conditions shattered that dream, leaving this disillusioned man to live in despair, numbing his dissatisfaction with alcohol. Rocky, fueled by hormones, got into fights on the streets, which severely strained his relationship with his father. One day, Rocky caught the attention of a military officer, and, encouraged by the officer, he decided to try his hand at boxing, inadvertently discovering the talent hidden in his genes, thus embarking on the path of boxing. Boxing not only saved Rocky but also resolved the long-standing hatred between him and his father.
