The story takes place in a martial arts training school called "Haoling Academy." Kujou Touka (voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka), with a tragic past, comes here filled with anger and ambition, hoping to hone his skills and become strong enough to avenge his deceased sister. A special system called "Bonded Duel" is implemented in the academy, where students must form pairs and live together to deepen their bonds. The deeper the bond, the stronger the powers they gain. In the academy, Kujou Touka encounters a Nordic girl named Julie (voiced by Nozomi Yamamoto), and they form a bond that leads to their cohabitation.
