The story takes place in the year G.C. 0051 in the Yahatabacho area of Neo Tokyo. Robi is a decent-looking, nearly thirty protagonist with unfortunate circumstances. Although he claims to be a freelance writer, he actually lost his work contract due to professional failures, got dumped by a woman, nearly died in a traffic accident, has been plagued by bad luck, and owes money to creditors. One day, after being robbed, Robin is helped by a young man who catches the thief and retrieves Robi's bag. This kind-hearted young man is named Hachi.
