In this dim and tranquil city, there lives a group of children with gray wings. An organization called "Gray Wings Alliance" secretly protects them from outside disturbances, and thus, the silent children live peaceful lives every day. Who are they? Where do they come from? What do the wings on their backs mean? The children know nothing; they were born here, grew up here, and have no family, no hometown, and even no memories. The only thing they know is that as long as they live forever in this Chestnut City, they will be safe. This day, the children welcomed their new member, Rokka (voiced by Hirohashi Ryou). As seniors, Sora (voiced by Yajima Akiko), Hikari (voiced by Orikasa Fumiko), and Riku (voiced by Noda Junko) embraced her arrival with joy. But this is just the beginning of the story. Slowly, when these kind and pure-hearted children learn the whole truth, will they be able to spread their gray wings and leave Chestnut City to fly into the sky?
