Genda (voiced by Akira Ishida) and Gensa (voiced by Yashiko Kimura) are a pair of twin siblings. At the moment of their birth, Genda was bestowed with the title of "Child of Destiny," becoming the hope of the entire nation, with hopes that he could overthrow the incompetent monarch and establish a new kingdom. In an unfortunate incident, Genda and Gensa encountered the army of the Red King, Juri (voiced by Kazuhiko Inoue), but fortunately, they were saved by Youha (voiced by Kenta Shiozawa). Years later, Genda was executed for treason by the Red King's army. In her quest for revenge, the heartbroken Gensa disguised herself as a man, posing as Genda to lead the villagers to escape their homeland.
