The story takes place in a world where demons and humans coexist. Many demons are divided into radical and conservative factions, with the radical demons often committing acts that endanger human safety. To address this, an organization called the "Demon People Agency" was established. Within the Demon People Agency, humans with half-demon bloodlines are gathered, partnering with humans to specifically resolve mysterious incidents caused by demons. Xiwang Pomegranate (voiced by Mai Nakahara) is a member of the Demon People Agency, and her partner is the super handsome but internally fearful of demons officer Tōjaku Kei (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai), whom Pomegranate often mocks for being cowardly. Additionally, there's the introverted Hōkei (voiced by Kana Hanazawa) and her partner Yoshino Guri (voiced by Sōichi Hino), and the quirky sibling duo Hōzuki (voiced by Yui Horie) and Yukidōri (voiced by Aoki Tōko) along with their fiancé Hanadōmaru Ryū (voiced by Yūki Kaji). While investigating incidents, the reason behind Pomegranate becoming a half-demon gradually comes to light.
