In this evil era where desires run rampant and black and white are reversed, the sharp increase in the wealth gap has led to the smoldering embers of crime and hatred. There is a legend about a "goddess" at the Rokumukihon Club, which states that as long as one receives the goddess's blessing, they can achieve their desires. Former war photographer Tatsumi Saiga (voiced by Yuji Takada) is investigating a murder case involving a politician when he inadvertently receives a kiss from the goddess—young Tennozuka Kagura (voiced by Keisuke Saito). When he is pursued for capturing her appearance on camera, Tatsumi discovers that he has miraculously gained immortality, and his camera seems to possess powerful capabilities akin to a weapon. For a long time, Kagura has suffered abuse from her mother, Tennozuka Shinju (voiced by Masayo Takashima), and becoming a goddess is also a result of hypnosis.
