Having bid farewell to the tumultuous middle school years, high schooler Usa Kazunari (voiced by Yuichi Iguchi) is determined to spend a peaceful and stable three years, sharing his rare youthful days with a pure and gentle girl. In the school library, Usa偶然 encounters his senior Kawai Ritsu (voiced by Kana Hanazawa), who is engrossed in her studies, stirring his heart. Just then, Usa's parents are transferred for work, and to live freely, he plans to move into Kawai-so, managed by Kawai Yoshiko (voiced by Sanami Kobayashi). However, he unexpectedly runs into his creepy classmate from elementary school, Shirosaki (voiced by Go Shigino), the socially awkward Masumi (voiced by Rina Sato), and the mischievous and cunning Ayaka Watanabe (voiced by Toshiko Kanemoto). Originally planning to escape the world of oddballs, he finds himself unable to leave upon discovering that Ritsu also resides there. A youth filled with uncertainty commences, where laughter and tears coexist… The film is based on the manga by Ruri Miyahara.
