In the world of mermaids, there is a rule that if a human accidentally sees their true form, they have no third choice but to either marry the human or kill them. An ordinary boy, Manaka Nagasumi (voiced by Kosuke Yamashita), is saved by the mermaid Seto San (voiced by Haruko Momoi) during a near-drowning incident, and according to the rule, San becomes Nagasumi's wife. Unexpectedly, San turns out to be the daughter of the underworld boss of the Seto Sea, and how will the somewhat timid Nagasumi face his tragic fate? At the same time, as the wedding date of Nagasumi and San approaches, more and more mermaids gather around Nagasumi.
