This is a world where witches coexist with humans. To ensure that their identities are not revealed, witches who are discovered by humans turn into witch frogs, and only another witch with a formal identity can break the spell. By chance, a girl named Harukaze Doremi, who has always dreamed of becoming a witch (voiced by Chiba Chiemi), accidentally uncovers the identity of the witch Rika. With no other choice, Rika takes Harukaze on as an apprentice witch. Harukaze must endure a long and arduous training process, and only by passing the witch's exam can she officially obtain witch qualifications. After that, the mature and calm Fujiwara Hazuki (voiced by Akiyoshi Tomoko), the clever and lively Mineo Aiko (voiced by Matsuoka Yuki), the tsundere yet kind-hearted Segawa Onpu (voiced by Shishido Rumi), and Harukaze's younger sister Harukaze Popo (voiced by Otani Ikue), become apprentice witches one after another when they discover Harukaze's identity. As time goes by, for the girls, passing the witch exam becomes a secondary goal; the most important thing is to use their magical abilities to bring happiness to others.
