She originally had a cute face, but for some reason, she always gives off a cold, eerie vibe that makes her hard to approach. This is Kuroki Tomoko (voiced by Tachibana Izumi), who has just entered high school. She is disheveled, speaks little, and has dark circles under her eyes from excessive gaming. She initially thought she would become the center of attention like the heroine in an otome game, but instead, she is destined to be a lonely girl with no friends and no one paying attention to her. What she cannot tolerate even more is that her former best friend, Naruse Yuu (voiced by Hanazawa Kana), who is of the same type, has drastically changed. Of course, with her strong inner self, Tomoko would never succumb to despair; she secretly mocks her classmates for their superficiality and frivolity, experiencing unprecedented joy in her delusional world. However, she still cannot bear loneliness, which turns into feelings of inferiority, jealousy, and various malicious thoughts. When pushed to the extreme, she turns to her brother, Tomoki (voiced by Nakamura Yuichi). In short, the reason she has become this way is all because of this world and the people around her...This film is adapted from the manga of the same name by Takikawa Nico.
