In the eyes of Koichi Sanada (voiced by Satoshi Hino), Yumi Hoshino (voiced by Ami Koshimizu) is a goddess-like perfect existence. Her shy personality and quiet demeanor captivate him, but Koichi understands that there is a considerable distance between him and Yumi. The appearance of the girl Mao Mizusawa (voiced by Haruna Ikeda) disrupts Koichi's peaceful life.
