This is a world where anyone can become a magician. As long as the relevant procedures are completed, everyone can legally use magic to make life more convenient. However, magicians are divided into two categories: apprentices and official magicians. Apprentice magicians must adhere to the rules of magic, practice diligently, and often use magic to help others in order to have a chance of becoming official. Our protagonist, the lovely girl Yume Kikuchi (voiced by Aoi Miyazaki), is such a kind-hearted apprentice magician. In order to receive training as a magician, Yume came to Tokyo from her hometown. The bustling big city dazzled her, and fortunately, with the help of passersby, Yume was able to find her mentor, Masami Oyamada (voiced by Junichi Suwabe). Why should magic be used? Does magic bring happiness or disaster? With these questions in mind, Yume began her magical training, and after experiencing various joys and sorrows of the world, she gradually understood the meaning of magic's existence.
