The male protagonist, whose name will be Fukai Ao (深井 青, this name means "deep blue" in Japanese), is a 13-year-old boy. Ao's father, Renton Thurston (ランダン・サーストン), is missing, and his mother, Eureka (エウレカ), was taken away by the U.S. military 10 years ago. Due to inheriting his mother's special genes, he can see things invisible to the human eye, such as light particles with a diameter of 20 nm, infrared and ultraviolet rays, etc. (however, this unique physiology is limited in outer space). He lived with the old doctor, Fukai Toshio (深井 敏夫), at the clinic when he was young, and is currently in Generation Blue (青い世代).
