In the year 2176, a star named Dolus, located near the solar system, suddenly exploded, and the immense energy filled the surrounding space with massive amounts of electromagnetic waves. The solar system was also affected, and the severe electromagnetic radiation caused significant changes to Earth's natural environment, rendering it uninhabitable for humans. As a result, humanity embarked on an extraordinary immigration project. 180 years later, in 2356, humans had established enormous cosmic bases on Earth, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, and other planets. To maintain effective communication between these bases, numerous space stations were built between the planets. One of these space stations houses a cosmic academy called "Star Road," which is tasked with training young astronauts capable of completing special missions. The protagonist of this story, Kanase Shima, is a student at this academy. Upon entering the academy, Shima, like the other students, struggles to adapt to the new academic life, but friendships among peers provide significant support, and life gradually gets onto the right track. Shima also becomes acquainted with a boy named Inoyama Kota, and the two quickly become good friends. Moreover, a vague romantic feeling gradually develops between them. However, the peaceful life does not last long; the students begin to undergo rigorous training and face critical missions related to the survival of Earth. Can Shima and his classmates withstand such tests?
