Once, a terrifying and brutal war left the entire continent in ruins, with countless lives lost. This war also made the "Demon Contract" synonymous with a taboo, sealing it away in the torrents of time as part of history. Years went by, and people finally welcomed an era of peace. Serihiri (voiced by Ayumi Fujimura), a girl from the old nobility and now a member of the Self-defense Knight Corps, protects the ancient sword left to her by her father, seeking opportunities to reforge it. One day, Serihiri accidentally discovers that the powerful "Demon Contract" has reemerged in the world. At the same time, a man named Luke (voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto) easily unravels this powerful force with his mysterious sword. Coincidentally, Luke is running a forge.
