The story takes place in the city of Beinanz, located in the northern Kanto region of Japan. There’s the completely unmotivated Shusenshiku Kiritaro (voiced by Naoyuki Shimozuru), who doesn’t resemble a young person at all; the seemingly energetic but surprisingly lacking in willpower Kirishima Ryoma (voiced by Takahiro Ishii); the walking encyclopedia with a super-rich internal knowledge database, Manza Prince (voiced by Riya Yasuda); and the full-effort devotee, Dōkō Ichiro (voiced by Shōta Hayama). These four highly unreliable high school boys make up the "Earth Defense Club." One day, in an unexpected turn of events, a beautiful boy from another world named Kalulus (voiced by Takuya Eguchi) accidentally finds his way into the Earth Defense Club.
