Hanabatake Yako (voiced by Aoi Yūki) is a true fool. Not only does she have zero learning ability, often scoring zero on tests, but she is also completely lost in life, always causing all sorts of trouble for no reason. However, even though Yako is not bright, she has a shining and kind heart. Akutsu Akira (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita) is the complete opposite of Yako; he possesses a brilliant mind but is not good at anything related to sports. He has always been by Yako's side, taking care of her studies and daily life. Sayaka Sugino (voiced by Ayaka Harada), the gentle and confused girl, is Yako's only and best friend. Her words and actions are often unintentionally influenced by Yako. The discipline committee president (voiced by Sumire Uesaka) secretly has a crush on Akira, and for her, Yako is like a rival.
