On March 26, 1991, in Daegu, South Korea. Five boys from Seongseo Elementary School went up a mountain together and never returned. The incident caused an uproar; despite the deployment of over ten thousand search personnel, the police had no leads, and the whereabouts of the children became a puzzling mystery. Four years later, a once-promising television producer, Jiang Zhi-sheng, was exiled to remote Daegu for alleged misconduct. Proud and aloof, he discovered that local people still remembered the long-forgotten "Frog Boys Disappearance Case." In an effort to revive his career, Jiang Zhi-sheng joined forces with Professor Huang, who had been following the case, and it seemed that the long-stagnant case was on the verge of a new turning point... This film is based on a real case that occurred in Daegu, South Korea, in 1991, known as the "Frog Boys Disappearance Case." It is one of South Korea's three major unsolved mysteries, with the bodies of the missing boys discovered in 2002. The other two cases have been adapted into the films "Memories of Murder" and "The Chaser."
