The disheartened young man Shang Wan (played by Cha Tae-hyun) has attempted suicide multiple times, and after the latest rescue, he discovers that he can see ghosts. "Uncle Smoke" (played by Go Chang-suk), "Aunt Crybaby" (played by Jang Young-nam), "Perverted Grandpa," and "Foodie Ghost" all intrude on Shang Wan's life and cling to him. Unable to die, he reluctantly survives, facing judgment from others due to his communication with the ghosts, leading to even more troubles. To get rid of the troublesome four ghosts, Shang Wan sets out to help them fulfill their unfulfilled wishes in the human world. In the process of helping these ghosts, he gradually grows closer to the kind nurse Yoon-su (played by Kang Yi-won), and his life begins to take a new turn.
