After spending a long twenty-five years behind bars, Frey (played by Samuel L. Jackson) is finally released and vows never to return to that cramped prison, enduring a life of pain away from the light. For twenty-five years, the world seems to have changed completely, and Frey is filled with hope for the future but is also filled with anxiety. A lively woman named Iris (played by Ruth Negga) appears by Frey's side, and her optimism and carefree spirit gradually help him regain his confidence, shaking off the shadows of the past and fully embracing a new life.
