After Coco (Zhuona) strangled her twin sister, her parents sent her to a mental institution. In this "special" place, she, dressed in black crow feathers as an angel, befriended Curl (Tadanobu Asano) and Little Wu (Koichi Hashizume), and the three became friends. Curl was sent here after accidentally killing his perverted teacher who had repeatedly assaulted him, and nightmares have accompanied him since then.
