Unfortunately, misfortune strikes Tang Pengnan's family when his father suffers a stroke, requiring substantial funds for treatment. To help her boyfriend, Qingqing decides to sell her body secretly behind Tang Pengnan's back. A wealthy businessman takes a liking to Qingqing and invites her to go on vacation with him, but this ultimately reaches Tang Pengnan's ears. An enraged Tang Pengnan believes Qingqing is obsessed with wealth and that her true nature is unchangeable, leading him to sever ties with her, leaving Qingqing heartbroken.
