Based on the novel "Frenzied Duet" by Norio Kono, it vividly depicts the lives of young people living aimlessly in a sense of nihilism, set to the performance of beat jazz. After leaving a juvenile detention center, Akira and Katsuo pick up Yuki on their way to the sea. The three attack Kashiwagi, a newspaper reporter who sent Akira to the detention center, and his girlfriend, Fumiko, on the beach.
