Juanjuan (played by Teresa Mo) is a nurse who, one day, on her way home from a night shift, encounters a deranged assailant and is brutally raped. The taxi driver Brother Qiang (played by Eric Tsang) becomes the only eyewitness. Confused and overwhelmed, Juanjuan chooses not to report it to the police and tries to cover it up. Unexpectedly, not long after, she encounters the assailant again in the hospital, where he assaults her once more. During the struggle, Juanjuan kills one of the assailants and is arrested by the police. Her colleague Awen (played by Ha Yu) finds Brother Qiang and urges him to testify in court, ultimately leading to Juanjuan's acquittal. However, the situation does not end there. The brother of the assailant Juanjuan killed is the leader of a gang and seeks revenge, resulting in Awen also being brutally raped.
